Watch where you are going
So again with the Christmas shopping. I hate it. Ironically this time of year seems to bring out the worst in people =, they crowd into shopping malls, running around in a bad mood because they’ve left everything to the last minute, all sense of politeness and good manners go out of the window. I got bumped into by a man on the phone and he blamed me for not looking where I was going, then, when I tried to just walk off he pushed me to the floor. Oh how I love this time of year, I have a banged up wrist and the only consolation is that security guards bundled the guy out so he didn’t get to finish his shopping.
Ok, that explains the lack of comics this last week, I kind of busted my wrist when I got pushed down by a shopper in a fit of Xmas last minute shopper rage. Ho ho ho, merry Christmas indeed. Hopefully things will be back to normal by the end of next week. I’d cross my fingers if it wasn’t so painful

Damn, some people are assholes. You should just give up on the holiday alltogether.

I love the last line. Hilarious.
I work in retail, in a big department store. And it’s Christmas.
So basically, all I do is guide people around and run around like a chicken with its head cut off for the cashiers, who are getting yelled at because they want to go home and are sick of waiting. Even though they are the ones who complained about a price on the damn till, which almost always turns out to be the same as it rang in for. And if that’s not bad enough, you never get called by just one cashier. Two want you, at least. And then, while getting whatever they want, four or five customers stop you.
Today was not a great day.

I hate people like this, I work in fast food, and the amount of angry customers this time of year increases dramatically. Everyone becomes so impatient and the rage from their horrible day of shopping makes them pick at every little thing imaginable.

Having worked in HMV for Christmas last year I can relate. Everyone waits until Christmas Eve to do their shopping and then they get irate when what they want isn’t available and the like. Working in a building society is well better, it’s Christmas Eve and I’ve had about 3 customers.
Hope your wrist gets better man.

I think Christmas brings out the worst in some people, some might say it’s ironic, I find it painful, especailly in such situations as above! Thanks for all the good wished about the wrist =)
Don’t worry, only 340 or something days left till we do it all over again. (minus the being shoved to the ground I hope)
