Why is it people never let me mix alcohol into other food stuffs, apart from jelly? Alcohol improves everything. Even alcohol.

Most humbling apologies. I missed Wednesday’s update, and due to a serious irregularity in my body clock, Thursday’s update is going up in the wee small hours of Friday morning. I had some personal reasons as to why I wasn’t able to maintain the schedule but I won’t bore you with the details. But I did promise you five updates this week so it looks set for Saturday to be the first ever Saturday update. Apathetic Rant on the weekend, who’d have thunk it?

    On the subject of alcohol you should try something called “Caribou Lou. Half a bottle of 151 proof rum, one cup of Malibu rum and fill the rest with pineapple juice. This should all be put into a jug. You can’t taste how strong it is so it hits you all at once and you realize how strong it is all too late. Very tasty too.

    Bryan, sounds dangerous. Deliciously dangerous. Mmmmm. Do you do a recipe book? I miss seeing that Keith Floyd bloke on the telly like he was when i were knee high to a grasshopper (you should see the insects down my way, they’re massive). He could guzzle down two bottles of wine in a half hour show and barely any of it touched the food. Fantastic.

    Well, most foods need to be cooked, which gets rid of the alcohol. But, then again, you could always, say, bake a rum cake, then add more rum after it’s done baking. ;)
