Strike
So, it looks like the writer’s strike is almost over, so hopefully we can get back to wasting our lives in front of the TV, instead of wasting our lives in front of the TV watching re-runs. I have to say that I was very much in favour of the writer’s strike. They were getting a very unfair deal and were not asking for much, it was just the companies that they worked for being overly greedy.
Thanks to everyone who has been voting, amazingly we’re still in the top 30, and we may even make it to the top 20 by the end of the month with your help, there’s another cookie as a way of saying thanks here and here. Also, if you haven’t had a chance yet, peep your head round the corner at our forums, there’s already a lot of great people posting there and I’m sure they just waiting for more cool people to sign up. That means you, you cool, cool person.

lol love the irony of the comic. and I’m going to have to agree with you on the writers strike. However, I found it strange that The Daily Show and The Colbert Report were most entertaining without the help of writers.

I only watch two shows (three including a re-run I’ve been watching now) and both of those suffer from the writer’s strike. I agree with the writers, but wish the strike would be over and done with (for their side) and go back to entertaining me.
