Not worth the paper it is written on

Ok, so yeah, figure this will offend a lot of people doing a philosophy degree, or even a humanities degree but surely this kind of thought has crossed your mind? Annoyingly for me the thought is entering my mind more and more frequently the closer I get to finishing my degree.

just use a lower quality of paper, then it will be worth the paper it is written on. really - only history isn’t a valid degree, 2 hours a week? mmmm

Heh, I guess that might work. I should imagine there is a lot of reading in a history degree. Or so I have been told by history students…

I had an interesting question put to me once by a former student of philosophy. Upon reflection, I informed him that no, I did not want to supersize… just the regular sized drink was fine.

Just as a note, philosophy degrees are the third most common undergrad degrees for law students.
Chemistry is first or second. Just thought I’d mention.

Degrees in the humanities are not entirely worthless. A degree in general is. Anyone can get a bachelor’s degree now a days. Now you need a master’s degree to get anywhere. At least with a degree in theatre I feel I still have a bit of my soul still left.
