Merry Christmas
Yes, I am the first to complain about the over commercialisation of Christmas, and how it is one big money spinner for card companies, toy makers etc. And I always complain about how environmentally unfriendly wrapping paper is. But it is nice to spend time amongst friends and family, relaxing, reminiscing and generally taking some time out to remember just how lucky we are. Sure I get annoyed about how the spirit of Christmas has been bastardised by modern living into a celebration of wealth, giving and receiving, but Christmas is what you make of it. If you let yourself get caught up in that commercialised aspect of it you loose what is so special about it, and that’s the people. For me Christmas is best spent with my family in front of the fire roasting chestnuts and just generally being content. So I hope where ever you, and what ever you do this holiday, I hope you enjoy it with family and friends.
Speaking of which, I’m only going to be uploading two comics this week, it being the holidays and all. I had two cartoons in my buffer so they’re both ready to go, which is just as well really, since my right hand is largely out of action, after it only having just got better from my “fall” last week. I have hurt my middle finger enough to make typing painfully difficult and using a mouse to draw nigh on impossible. After a trip to hospital at 2 in the morning everything seems to be ok as long as I remember to take my pain killers! Hopefully I’ll be back in action by next week, if not I’ll have to sort something out, maybe even ask for a guest comic or two. I’ll be in a better position to say either way on Thursday. Until then I wish you all a Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays / pleasant non-religious national holiday thingy.

Ya, I totally agree. I had the best Christmas present ever. First a little back ground I just got a new job and had to move leaving my wife and 9 months old in my old town while we save money to get them here. My present was them coming down to stay with me for the week. And my boss gave me an extra day off work to spend with them. I couldn’t ask for more. I got to spend the whole day round a nice fire place and watching my daughter play with her new toys.
