Fresh Air

Where as last month, when the sun came out, most of the smokers I encountered where hiding in some dark pub. But now as I walk through the streets I see them sitting outside at patio tables, wafting their smoke everywhere. Sure, pubs are smoke free but everywhere else seems to have a haze.

You know there pushing the same thing in the states and you have to walk through a cloud to get anywhere. The problem isn’t solved just moved.

Omg if it’s such a problem, wear a gas mask. Next thing you know they’re going to make us only smoke at roof tops then someone is going to say that all the pidgeons have emphysema or something stupid. It’s not our fault you don’t smoke. Leave us and our stupid, stinky, cancerous addictions alone lol

actually I’m a nonsmoker thats against the smoking bans. I feel its private property it is not the governments place to say whether or not the owners of that establishment should allow smoking or not. You don’t have to go a a bar or a diner. I was in support of not smoking in a grocery store (you have to go there) I was more say that they really didn’t fix there so called “problem” just moved it. I hate smoke but this is a “free” country and it should be up to the owners of the establishment what to do with there establishment. They say that it is good for buisness when they do this. Ya try telling that to the 10 bar owners that have gone out of buisness in Cheyenne and thats a town of only 50,000 people.

Oh yeah no I get it I’m cool with the whole not smoking inside like grocery stores and malls but in like bars and restaraunts it’s a little annoying and like, if they should put a ban on smoking here and there, like here you can’t smoke within 50 feet of most doors, it’s going to get really retarded with all of the bans.

In Ireland they have the smoking ban inside any premises. And also they will soon be bringing in the rule that “you cannot smoke within 100 feet of a pub”. Its Ireland. Every 20 feet theres a pub!! :O

I love that smokers complain when non-smokers don’t want to inhale their smoke. I often wonder how they’d react to a non-smoker farting in their face. Especially if the fart made all their clothes stink for the rest of the night and gave them cancer.

I am currently working on a way to make my farts cause cancer.

But seriously, I don’t mind anywhere near as much people smoking outside, but it’s when it imapcts upon other people that it becomes the problem.

It’s the same way in parts of America. I hate how there’s more fresh air inside than outside. It’s not so bad on a windy day but on still days….

When it comes to my mum, I can see the point of her smoking. After all, she DID have several family members and a friend die very close together, plus her house burn down. And with our family history, she’ll probably die of cancer anyway.

However, on the whole I’m still against smoking. For 99% of the population, there just is no excuse. It’s stupid, smelly, unhealthy and I hate being subjected to cigarette smoke. Even if I understand why mum started smoking, it never stopped me constantly telling her not to smoke in the car on the way to school (she did eventually stop). I was about 5-7 then.
