Clapper
Thursday - May 1st, 2008
Come on! I mean seriously guys, it’s the 21st Century here. I’m not asking for yet packs, though that would be totally sweet. But a clapper? I swear they had them when I was a kid, I thought that they were going to be the future. And now that it is the future there’s not a clapper in sight. I have to go to all the effort of flipping a switch. Pfft. What technologies were you promised as a kid that haven’t made it into the mainstream yet?
Oh, and sorry about the brief downtime today, the host had some mysql problem or other, but it seems all cleared up.

Ah, I’m none too fond of the clapper myself, mainly because I consider the ‘clap’ to be an art of extreme effort and time.
I’m one of the jackasses who chooses to only applaud ten times no matter the situation, not because I don’t think they achievement is worth applause, but because I’d be otherwise wasting valuable energy.
Long story short: Remote Control lights…
Psychic powers would be nice too.
Maybe I’m asking too much from Science?
Turrah!

What happens when one hand is busy? Pull a crocodile dundee (sp?)and slap your face? Painful.
I like the touch lights. My friend had a lamp that had three settings, on, bright enough to BLIND, and off.
Unfortunately you had to touch it to change settings, so you were always blinded before the light went off. Which caused damage to my poor shins.
