Christmas in October?

I was in the shops the other day and noticed that there were already products out for Christmas. I had meant to do a rant about it but I must have forgotten. Well, I was back shopping again to day, and to no surprise there were again Christmas items for sale. Now even if I ignore the fact that there were Christmas items on sale over two weeks ago (before Halloween items went on sale I might add) it still is October. Yes, October. Perhaps I should inform the shopping centres of this? Do they not know? Are they oblivious to the fact that Christmas occurs in the month of December. Or rather at the end of the month of December. It’s over two months away and I am still seeing crappy tinsel, stupid stocking and bloody baubles. I mean what the hell, I can sort of understand buying in advance to avoid the queues but who in their right mind decorates their Christmas tree in November, let lone October? That means that any body who buys the decorations at the moment will have to put them in storage for at least a month! I don’t understand why I am so annoyed; I presume vodka has something to do with it… But seriously, even if I was totally sober I should imagine that the notion would still irritate me. I’m not the only one am I?

PS: The blasted server monkeys stole my server, so apologies for the tardy comic.

    Lol, you are not alone.
I went shopping with my friends a couple days ago and there was just as much x-mas stuff out as halloween.
I hate how they always sell things early:
Cars for 2003 coming out in 2002
Halloween candy so early that it’s stale by oct 30 (or is it oct 31… idk my days)
    And et cetera.

I may be a wee bit more bugged by it that you actually.
    So… [:

Halloween is so much better than Christmas, they start selling stuff for it at the start of October, which I can just about handle, then it lasts one night, with people having parties a few days either side, and TV channels showing horror films for the same amount of time. However, at the start of December I am greeted by people wishing me a merry Christmas. This will continue for a full month. Decorations will be up almost at the same time. There will be crappy Xmas TV specials for weeks and awful music on the radio and in shopping centres for ages!
I am dreading the day that I walk into a shopping centre in November and hear Christmas music. I actually fear for the people that will be in the vicinity when my head explodes.

Ugh. I’m one of those poor souls who work in retail, and have to put out the christmas stuff. It feels like every time I open a box, sparkles fly onto me. I feel like if someone shone their headlights on me at night, it would be like I was wearing reflective gear. I’m not even into sparkly make up darn it!

I hear that ‘I work in retail to. And while they have been stating the Christmas music in Nov for awhile now this year was a all new low starting the day after Halloween. Hey guys in the states we have another holiday in there. can we have that first please. I mean 2 full months of Christmas is way to much.

I was at work, and I swear for the entire months of November and December, they blast the christmas music everywhere.
