I hate that some people are blaming computer games and TV violence for problems with kids’ behaviour. “Oh wow, so a character on TV gets blown up but in the next episode he is all fine and dandy, does that mean if I blow myself up I’ll be fine and dandy too?” Seriously, if a kid’s line of thought goes like that then Cartoon violence is that last of their problems, they’re retarded. Parents should stop making TV and computer games a scapegoat for their bad parenting. They plonk little Jimmy down in front of a TV or PC for hours on end everyday because they are bad parents, and then when Jimmy isn’t well rounded they don’t blame their own lack of parenting, they jump on the things that they have been relying on to keep Jimmy occupied whilst they go about their lives.
